Our Story
Luke and I met freshman year of high school. He insists he asked me out and I said no, however I remember it being very last minute and I already had plans! We then stayed friends until junior year of high school and started dating NYE of 2016. Since June 2018, we have been long distance. Luke attended the United States Air Force academy in Colorado Springs and I attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. While Luke was in basic training he wasn't allowed to have his phone, so we spent all summer sending letters back and forth. I remember waiting every morning for the mailman to come, hoping there was a letter that day. We made it work by seeing each other 1-2 times per semester, for holidays and 3 weeks each summer when Luke had time off. We have spent countless hours on facetime and on the phone. And it doesn't stop there! We are both currently pursuing our Master’s degrees,- Luke for Mechanical Engineering and I am doing a Physician Assistant program. We are finally ending the long distance portion of our relationship this May! We are graduating from our programs and then moving to Florida. We are so excited for 2024 as we both start our careers, move in together and get married! Thank you for being a part of our special day!
